Retrieving Freedom, Inc.
Our son Tristan Kuhn like many children has autism.  We became interested in getting a service dog to help Tristan with his unique needs that include: adjusting to new sitiuations, ability to focus on the task at hand, becoming comfortable in all new settings, and engaging in potentially dangerous escape behaviors outside of the home.  We feel very blessed that just recently Tristan has been put on a list to receive a service dog from "Retrieving Freedom" (a non profit group) hopefully very soon.  Unfortanetly not all costs are covered to receive this wonderful dog for our son.  The costs will be between $6000.00-$8000.00 and without donations to this wonderful non profit group, the costs would have been as high as $23,000.00.
Saturday, September 1, 2012 a fundraiser will be held at The Kuhn Family Farm at noon.  A reprenative from Retrieving Freedom will be on hand with service dogs like the one we will receive.  There will also be a live tennis match on "The All Iowa Lawn and Tennis Club" grass tennis court between top tier competitors.  Food and beverges will be provided.   Donations are appreciated.

If you have it in your heart to donate to this wonderful cause that will change our son's life for the better, there are one of three ways you can help.  Attend event and donate there, make payment to paypal at https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/make-online-payments , or can send a check payable to    "Retrieving Freedom"
